Background

Born and raised in Sacramento, David has spent the majority of his life here which has contributed to his intimate knowledge of the city, county, and region.

An active member of River Oaks Community Association (ROCA), David understands the importance of community. He believes that neighborhoods give us commonality and create the basis for a connected environment . As a member of the ROCA board, David helps guide his community toward a sense of togetherness, heightened security, better relations with the City of Sacramento and more attention from the City. All of these efforts not only enhance a neighborly feeling but also protect property values.

David is an Air Force Veteran. Having been in the armed forces himself, he is acutely aware and supportive of the military and its Veterans. He has assisted many in the home buying process. Not all Veterans use VA loans, but when they do, they need an agent who not only understands the ins and outs of this type of loan, but also an agent who has used the VA loan process himself.

After the military, David worked to put himself through UC Davis, graduating with a degree in International Relations. After graduation, an opportunity arose to open a restaurant. It was either this or grad school, so, throwing all caution to the wind he opened his first restaurant. Three more opened in the ensuing years. But after nineteen successful years in the service industry, he was ready for another change. Loving real estate, understanding the needs of his clients, and already used to working nights and weekends, it seemed real estate was a natural fit for David.

Whether it’s a burger or a million dollar home, being attuned to clients’ needs comes naturally to David.

Experience

David began his real estate career at RE/MAX Gold and sold over five million dollars in his first year. Since then, he has risen to be a top producing agent at the RE/MAX Gold Midtown office. He is also an integral part of the team with the highest volume.

David is a Master’s Club member of the Sacramento Association of Realtors and in the RE/MAX 100% Club.

Military training and business ownership have taught David that achieving growth requires self-motivation, a lot of hard work, and dedication. David brings these to each of his clients regardless of whether they’re buying/selling a two bedroom condo or a 7,600 sq ft mansion.

Years of experience in customer service have enabled him to become proficient in listening, understanding, and implementing customers' needs in the most efficient and effective manner.
